This sensor features zirconia solid electrolyte integrated with alumina heater substrate which precicely controls the amount of oxygen concentration that flows into the diffusion layer to limit current flow. This is a direct replacement for the first bank oxygen sensor on 2001 to 2006 Honda Civics. Although it is branded Denso, it is exactly the same as the OEM Honda Air/Fuel Sensor that usually costs twice as much from the dealer. You will see it referred to as an oxygen sensor, even though it is the Air & Fuel sensor required for this car. It works perfectly!

I WAS SO UPSET. I WENT TO THE HONDA DEALER TO GET ESTIMATE ON THE SENSOR. THEY WANTED $325.00 FOR THE PART. I GOT OTHER ESTIMATES. THE LOWEST ESTIMATE WAS $250.00 FOR THE PART.. THAN I WENT ON AMAZON AND LOW AND BEHOLD THE PRICE WAS RIGHT. THE SENSOR WORKS GREAT MATTER OF FACT MY CAR RIDES BETTER. THIS IS WELL WORTH GETTING. THIS PART MADE MY DAY. IT IS THE SAME PART AS THE $250 to $325.00 PART. MY MECHANIC WAS AMAZED.
