However, the connection for the coolant lines is completely different, and incompatible. Also, the pulley is much larger than the original. It's possible this is the finest compressor on the planet, but it doesn't do what the manufacturer said it would. So I went and purchased this from Amazon. Imagine my surprise when it comes in and does not have any line in connections. Somehow you have to find a suction valve connector that does not exist by Denso or anyone else. No 2000 Honda Civics has such a thing and apparently neither do 1997 and 1998 Civics. All the part numbers match up but the unit doesn't.The manual states that it does not have one and does not tell you where to get one. No website makes mention of this. If your Civic's old compressor has the line connectors built in DO NOT buy this item.
